Empire

Hi, my name is Dushan, and I was born at 17:42 Australian EST, on November the 17th, 1998, at Jessie MacPherson Private Hospital, within the Monash Medical Centre. My overjoyed, proud parents are Gordana and Milosh Ivanovich, and my equally ecstatic grandparents are called Mile and Bina (on mum's side) and Vladimir and Slavica (on dad's side).

What else do you need to know about me? How did I get my lovely name? Well, my mum and dad had an agreement, where she was going to pick girl's names and he was going to pick boy's names. So along I came, and was given the name of Dushan - the name I share with Serbia's greatest-ever emperor, Tsar Stefan Dushan IV (1331-1354). Under his rule, Serbia extended from the borders of Hungary and Romania, all the way down to Athens in Greece, and Tirana in Albania. More importantly, the empire was known officially as the "Kingdom of Serbs, Greeks and Albanians", and during this prosperous period, Tsar Dushan's emphasis was on ethnic tolerance and a fair and equitable legal system.

So what do you think of dad's choice of name - I am flattered, and I hope I can be as great a person one day... I was born in the Zodiac Sign of SCORPIO, which is under the influence of the planet PLUTO. This planet symbolizes transformation and regeneration, and as a SCORPIO, I am a Water Sign ... sensitive, emotional, imaginative and intuitive. But hey, that is only the horoscope and astrology - I will create my own character, thank you very much!
